His Story

Ernie Capel served in the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment. This was one of the stained glass pieces that was presented to all the surviving members of the 508th during the first Christmas back, to be displayed on their doors at home. It is presented here in remembrance of all those that fell during World War Two in combat for the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
