Honored Veteran David Alleman

His Story

This is in tribute to the four soldiers that were lost on July 3, 2007 during the Checkpoint 20 bridge destruction. During that destruction, four members of the Air Defense Platoon were lost. He was the first person on the ground and ultimately received the Bronze Star Medal with V device. His efforts went into saving dozens of other lives by repulsing Jaish al-Mahdi forces attempting to take the bridge from U.S. forces.
